With an average altitude of over 5,000 meters, the area features thin air, bitter freezing cold and drastic temperature differences between day and night. Conventional drilling rigs often suffer from power loss, difficult startup and hydraulic leakage, making high-altitude construction a long-standing engineering challenge.
Xiongtai tracked full-hydraulic drilling rigs, developed through dedicated technical research tailored to plateau operating conditions, have been widely deployed at construction sites across Xizang and Xinjiang.
