Adopting an oil-electric hybrid power system, the XT-1200 combines the high adaptability of diesel power with the energy-saving benefits of electric drive. Even under low air pressure on the plateau, its power unit maintains stable output, perfectly suited for hard rock exploration in Tanggula. The tracked chassis provides excellent terrain mobility, enabling flexible movement on muddy and undulating highland ground and simplifying site relocation.

Xiongtai XT series drilling rigs have been deployed in multiple projects across China, including mountain sites in Xinjiang, mining areas in Gansu and construction sites in Chengde, Hebei. Complete machine units and spare parts packages are also exported to overseas markets such as Mauritania, Africa.
